Correspondence, legal documents, drawings, photographs, and advertising material relating to Sharpe, the Indiana Manufacturing Company, the "grain-saving wind stacker," and Theophilus King's lawsuit against Sharpe's estate. Included are testimonial letters and business correspondence; Sharpe's will; and photographs of Sharpe in his Indianapolis Light Infantry uniform and with his race horse, and of the wind stacker in action.

A native and resident of Indianapolis, Sharpe became an inventor of agricultural machinery and was associated with the Indiana Manufacturing Company. About 1915 he developed the "grain-saving wind stacker," which became the company's main product. The company, with Sharpe as president, was in debt to Theophilus King of Boston.
